All canonical English translations appearing on Dharma Pearls are made freely available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. I ask that they not be sold for profit, but organizations and individuals can feel free to use them for other purposes and distribute them in a non-profit fashion.

Secondary works such as essays, glossaries, and comparison studies that are planned will be subject to normal copyright protection and require explicit permission for reproduction.

In general, it's better to link to the original documents found at Dharma Pearls rather than copying them to other sites because they will be subject to periodic revision. Copies posted elsewhere will become obsolete over time.
